I wanted to do a poll on this but I prefer people to leave comments since we all can hear out our opinions. Here is the thing, do you all want:
1) FES blog and Kampar blog to run separately, or2) We join forces and fight for the greater good?
My point of view is:
This blog is created to bring all of us together. We share interesting things in our lives; we laugh, weep and surprise ourselves by reading the same page everyone else in this course is reading - this BLOG. We might see each other in class in every other day but, tell me, do you know every interesting thing that occur in the lives of the friends around you? You wouldn't have know it but to miss a few anecdotes your friends want or dying to share with you while you are not beside them. All of these sharing stuff are great and meaningful, especially when we are going to bid adieu in about a year. But, it comes at only one and only ONE condition: we transcend the limitations set up by the year we are in, the session we are in, and the place we are in. In other words: we share as members, or rather "species" of the huge BT family of Utar regardless of which campus or which year.
Of course, we also want to know what's up with the brethren and sisters in Kampar. I don't feel right when this blog is going to be infested with molds and mosses when we graduated. I hope it would carry this healthy "kiasu" spirit down to our "successors" down the Utar BT lineage, the subspecies Homo sapiens kiasuensis.
ONE HEART beating: it's life but too weak;
TWO HEARTS beating: it's life, strong but unstable and chaotic;
TWO HEARTS beating TOGETHER: it's life, strong and lasts twice as long.
This is my point of view. What's yours?
Hope you guys respond fervently in the comments section. No language constraint but English is favoured since we all speak it and understand it. =)

我要讲华语, but never mind la hor.
Anyway, if the purpose of this blog were for us students to share our lives with each other, I would think it would be quite difficult. There are 79 students in our course, and if everyone were to participate in writing entries on this blog, there would be perhaps at least 10 new entries everyday. That's kinda hard to keep up with.
Unless of course, you mean to limit the blog authors to certain people only, which would mean the rest could only leave comments to 'share' whatever they can there.
And if the Kampar people were to jump on the bandwagon as well? Maybe I'm confused. Enlighten me. =/
Haha... It is just a metaphor for me to say to share everything in our life. A bit of exaggeration there. But if you take a quick look at our archives, usually we only blog about something which is very outstanding (can be too weird for normal standards or funny beyond imagination). Mostly, it is about something worth sharing among the BT nakama @ friends. Not every detail, like most bloggers do, of our hourglass needs to be shared. In fact, it is up to your discretion. Also, not all of us are avid bloggers. Most, are even too shy to write comments, save for postings. So, 10 entries per day is not something common. If, and I said IF, there are really 10, I don't think BT-ers will dread to read them. There was once when several blog posts were made at once but I think many of us find pleasure in reading.
Wanna get the idea of how the posting goes? Dig up the oldies! Actually, this blog is already running with both parties from Kampar and FES participating though the former with less zeal. It is jst that I want confirmation about the "join venture".
Okay, as long as there is a moderator/blog admin who tidies up and does all the unpleasant work, why not? =D
By the way, there are 73 of us, not 79. :).
For others who are reading this, this blog is open for anyone of you to post. Just leave your email address here is you want to be part of the "authoring authorities" aka bloggers or this blog. If you want to remain as a passive reader, well, then so be it. No forcing here.
At first, this blog was proposed and created by our 大姐大 yinyee in order to provide leisure for us Biotech coursemates with funny happenings and jokes. Never anyone thought that this blog can be so successful that it has now transformed into our official announcement board and 8gua section. Banzai to biotech blog!
Anyway, I don't really want to separate our blog into 2, but still sometimes people might get confused with the announcement, whether it is related to FES or those of Kampar. Or perhaps when there's academic announcement, perhaps we just add (Kampar) or (FES) at the end of title to ease our readers? And for those 无聊 stories and entertainment stuffs, just dump that concept off as it is for everyone!
That is my suggestion.
i tink all 2gether will be more fun lo!!! at least we know wat happen among 3 groups of BT family and kampar de... hehe.... xaviermz.. got received my sms ma?? hehe
okok.... Haha... jz saw ur message.
all in one would be better, cz i'm kinda lazy to follow up 2 blogs hehe...
v can jz set like if 2day got new post or any latest post within 1 week, announce it on the PA slot...so the reader wont confuse so much...
By the way, for the confusion between announcements, I hereby assert AGAIN:
the announcement section will be and has been divided into 2 - like what liang has mentioned, the tags FES and Kampar in parentheses are added, if u guys pay careful notice. :)
my opinion is to keep it together so that we can 8 more about each other from FEW to Kampar, I personally think it's better that way to keep things simple and together...
Why not switch to Wordpress? They allow pages on their website, and we can use one page for Setapak, one page for Kampar. How? I volunteer to be moderator. XD
FES, sorry...
Blogger has some features wordpress doesn't have. Most importantly, it is something about values, sentimental ones, friendliness and familiarity. Maybe wordpress has a feature that can come in handy but it does not have things that here can offer. Why sacrifice a huge pie for a sliver of egg tart?
And it is not easy to uproot a long-time entrenched "tradition". Change from one interface to another, is simply, err, you know how to end this sentence.
Again, it is all about connectedness. No matter it is pages or blog sites, as long as it is separated, the bond is severed.
Hmm..I prefer to keep it together in 1 blog because it is much more easier for reader to know what is going in Kampar and FES.
就用回这个吧
要大家记太多website大家会记不著的
然后两个campus都比较可以交流一下
最后也是最重要的就是分开的话会分散人潮
就是很难把大家集中起来
要做什么announcement也比较麻烦了
